A fibula (/ˈfɪbjʊlə/, plural fibulae /ˈfɪbjʊli/) is a brooch or pin for fastening garments, typically at the right shoulder. The fibula developed in a variety of shapes, but all were based on the safety-pin principle.
On July 9th from 10-11am, we will be exploring “Fantastic Fibulas” taught by Elizabeth Debban. Join Elizabeth for a hands-on lesson about designing and creating wire brooches. Open Studio attendees will have access to all tools and materials used in the demo.
