Are you interested in making jewelry, but not sure you want to take the plunge? Are you an experienced metalsmith, but want to add a fun new technique to your repertoire? Then this one day workshop may be just the thing for you!

In this workshop, we will use traditional metalsmithing techniques, including cutting, filing, texturing, drilling, shaping and a tiny bit of fire to make at least one pair of unique architectural earring using the arc tension method. This technique is great for beginners, but is also endlessly adaptable no matter what your skill level. We will also have a short tutorial on the liver of sulfur patina method to get a gorgeous gun metal black shine on silver pieces.
