Hoops, Hoops, Hoops… The possibilities are endless! From the tiniest to the enormous, we all love hoop earrings. Dimensional or Flat? Stationary or Swinging? on a Post or an Ear wire? Textured or Polished? So many options… In this one day intensive we will explore all these possibilities and more! Some of the techniques that will be covered are fine soldering of ear wires and earring posts, creating hand-made ear wires, simple earring mechanisms, riveting, different approaches to creating movement and adding dimension to your designs, various surface embellishments and patinas. Students should expect to complete at least 1 pair of earrings, or a variety of experiments. It is up to you!
