Class Description
I am self taught and my process shows it! I use techniques that might be foreign to you, but all that matters is that they work for me. I don't believe in boundaries or rules, and I want to show you how how you can find experimental techniques that work for you. My classroom environment is to aspire creativity, experimentation, and imagination, and my teaching style is focused on you ... you will have more time to work than the usual workshop - we will have short demos and then you will work on your own while I help with questions, comments, or ideas.Â
You will learn in a way that might be new to you, but that's the point. I want you to see that there'smore than one way to do something, even if you are formally trained. Here's what we'll do: We all have jewels that are outdated and unworn. Instead of leaving them in a drawer, let's use the components to create new fabulous adornments! We'll take apart the unused jewels and use it's best components, such as precious metals, precious or man-made gemstones, etc. Let's redefine what the components are. Check out some of the work I did in an exhibition of upcycling old jewels. You'll see that there are endless possibilities of what we can do... Let's have fun!
