MAGG Studio, 5353 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340, USA
Join us in the MAGG Studio on the Second Saturday of every month from 10am-11am for “Second Saturdays at the Studio.” This monthly mini session will consist of a unique demo, theme, lesson, or challenge to re-energize your studio practice!
A fibula (/ˈfɪbjʊlə/, plural fibulae /ˈfɪbjʊli/) is a brooch or pin for fastening garments, typically at the right shoulder. The fibula developed in a variety of shapes, but all were based on the safety-pin principle.
In this session, we will be exploring “Fantastic Fibulas” taught by Elizabeth Debban. Join Elizabeth for a hands-on lesson about designing and creating wire brooches. Open Studio attendees will have access to all tools and materials used in the demo. After the demo, work in the studio to complete your “Fantastic Fibula” to display in the case at MAGG the following month. The best work each month will WIN a great MAGG Prize!
Can’t make it in person? Join us on the MAGG Members Group for a Facebook Live video of the demo.
In-Person Attendees: Each Second Saturday demo/lesson counts as one Open Studio hour used.
This event is part of MAGG's Member Enrichment Program and Enhanced Open Studio. Open Studio is available exclusively to MAGG Members. (Not a member yet? Click here for membership details!)
