Instructor Lisa Winn | Start from the beginning and learn to saw, solder and form jewelry. I’ll cover correct sawing techniques, how to safely use an acetylene and air torch, and use the rolling mill to create texture. Projects will lead up to a cabochon stone set on a sterling ring band.

This is a LIVE, IN-PERSON event. Please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes early to the class.

Interested in using metal to make jewelry? Have one taken one session and want to hone those skills? Learn and practice the basics of jewelry making. In this class you will learn the basic skills of sawing, soldering and shaping metal. We will cover correct sawing techniques, how to safely use an acetylene and air torch, and use a rolling mill to create texture. Projects will include a lentil bead, a riveted pendant in copper, leading up to a cabochon stone set on a textured sterling ring band.
