Ear Baubles

Instructor Donna D'Aquino | Earrings, Earrings, Earrings…The choices are endless! There are earrings that hang, swing and some that hug the ear. Using a variety metals including Sterling Silver, Copper and/or Brass wire, this one day intensive will focus on various styles of earrings.
This is a LIVE, IN-PERSON event. Please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes early to the class.
Earrings, Earrings, Earrings…The choices are endless! There are earrings that hang, swing and some that hug the ear. Using a variety metals including Sterling Silver, Copper and/or Brass wire, this one day intensive will focus on various styles of earrings.
We will explore fabricating components from wire and sheet and different ways of forming and attaching those components to one another. Some of the techniques covered in this workshop will be fine soldering, fabricating ear wires and soldering earring posts.
Students can expect to finish one pair of earrings, depending on the complexity of the design they choose. Students are also free to explore a variety of different ideas and samples to add to their repertoire. Students of all skill levels are welcome.
