Friday Morning Intermediate/Advanced Metalsmithing

This is a LIVE, IN-PERSON event. Please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes early to the class. Refer to the supply list on the details page for required tools and materials.
7 weekly classes, Fridays, 9:45 AM - 1:45 PM Class dates: 1/17, (No class 1/24), 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, (No class 2/21), 2/28, 3/7, 3/14
This class refined basic skills and takes them to the next level. Techniques include surface design, recycling silver and gold, as well as close attention to the “little things”— jumprings, bails, bezels, etc. We will discuss important design elements and apply them to our individual projects, which can include necklaces, rings, pins, earrings, or bracelets. The goal is for each student to finish two pieces.
