Discover the art of inlay as you learn to create striking designs by embedding silver, gold, and copper into metal surfaces. In this one-day workshop, students will design their own pattern and translate it into an inlay for a final piece that they will be able to start and possibly finish by the end of the day. Instruction will cover preparing a base metal, cutting and fitting inlay materials, and finishing techniques to highlight the beauty of contrasting metals. No prior inlay experience required; some basic jewelry or metalsmithing experience recommended.
