This course focuses on enhancing proficiency in key techniques, including:

• Stone Setting: Explore a variety of methods, from bezel and prong settings to flush and tube settings, and capturing unusual stones with creative approaches.

 • Forging: Shape and texture metal using hammers and anvils, developing control and confidence with this foundational skill.

 • Soldering: Tackle more complex soldering challenges with precision and confidence, building structurally sound pieces.

 • Design Elements: Dive into principles of balance, texture, and form to create wearable works of art that express your personal style.

Students will engage in hands-on projects designed to push boundaries while building community in a space that encourages exploration and challenge. Whether you’re perfecting existing techniques or experimenting with new ideas, this class offers the tools and guidance to bring your creative vision to life. Students will be given suggested projects where desired and guided through interests they have for their own creations.
