Learn the art of traditional metalsmithing as we fabricate one of a kind pieces of jewelry. Campers will design and create rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets using wire, sheet metal, beads, and stones. Soldering, texturing, forming, stamping, sawing, and cold connections will be explored. Step-by-step instructions will be given through live demos each day, and students will learn the ins and outs of studio safety. We will have a different surprise guest each week who will share African and Native American techniques of jewelry making.

Each week will have an emphasis on a different project, so students who attend both weeks will be creating something new. Whether students attend one week or both, they are guaranteed to learn something new and exciting!

Supplies are included in the registration fee.

Please complete a separate registration form for each camper.

Complete a liability waiver for each camper. Return completed forms to classes@metalartsguildga.org by June 1st.
