The earth isn’t flat and neither are we! The body has lots of curves and planes. Just working through how to gracefully incorporate flat or odd-shaped items, such as stones, into curved jewelry such as rings and cuffs, is an interesting study. Continue to develop your skills and find your artistic voice as we focus on bringing these forms together harmoniously and creatively. Discussions and demos will include, but aren’t limited to, design, pattern making, preemptive troubleshooting, and stone-setting options. Students are invited to make a ring or cuff project, or work independently with guidance.
