Liquid polymer clay opens up a whole new world of creativity. Come and explore a wide variety of surface techniques using liquid clay that will enhance your polymer skill set. We will begin with the basics that cover the physical properties of liquid clay, how to mix colors, various application options and the super powers of liquid polymer clay. Techniques will include mark making, stenciling, patinas, backgrounds, backfilling, scribbles, and abstract painting. I will demo each technique and then allow time for you to practice along the way. These techniques embrace the wabi sabi nature of liquid polymer clay (creative imperfections) resulting in unique designs. A sampling of three projects (earrings, pendant and pin) will be completed along with sample pieces, components and veneers. This is a fast-paced and fun workshop that provides you with a solid basic understanding of liquid polymer clay so that you can continue to explore the possibilities.
