Throw Away The Rules: Using Materials Off-Label

Experimentation can be the most exciting part of metalwork! It allows you to use offlabel materials in your work that results in spectacular designs! It also allows you to complete a task that you might have been having difficulty with by finding techniques that aren’t formal, but they work for you! We’ll experiment with concrete, yes, building concrete, and we’ll use old jewelry to create new and engaging adornment. Whether it be jewels that have been sitting in a drawer, or costume jewelry, especially those with ‘gems’ (they don’t have to be genuine), that you have no use for anymore.
