Ekaterina Domashchenko graduated from Georgia Tech with a business degree before she ever stepped foot in a jewelry studio. Soon after graduating with an unfulfilling degree she took her first metalsmithing class and fell head over heels for it. Years of beading and wire work prepared her for jewelry design but Ekaterina's primary inspiration comes from the sculptural capacity of metal. Her work often features intricate sawed out leaves, flowers, and trees, and wax cast elements as well.
