Practical Production
Instructor Christina Kober-Kauke
2 Sessions, Saturdays, 12:30am - 5pm
Class Dates: 9/26/26
Course Fee: $210
Lab Fee: n/a
Prerequisite: Understanding of basic jewelry fabrication. A desire to build a collection to sell.
At our busiest, Christina Kober Designs was producing 12,000 pieces of jewelry a year. That kind of output doesn't happen by accident — it happens through systems, smart setups, and hard-won technique.
This one-day workshop distills what took years to figure out, and it's for any maker who wants to work more efficiently — whether you're producing 12 pieces or 12,000.
We'll cover:
- Building systems and organizing your workflow
- Setting up your bench for maximum effectiveness
- Finishing techniques that get you to done faster
- Must-have tools worth investing in
- Using stock materials for collection cohesion and cost-effective purchasing
- When to make materials vs. buy them
- Using heat strategically for less cleanup
- How and when to hire help
Bring a design you want to produce in multiples — we'll end the day with a hot seat, where a student brings up their piece and we map out a real production plan together.
Work smarter. Finish stronger.
