Need a quick clasp? We all need a way to connect that gets the job done in no time!! This workshop will show you how to make a handful of clasps that won’t take you all week to make!! We’ll start with some upgraded types of hooks, a sneaky slider, then on to a toggle and progress to a great box clasp that is straightforward to make. You can even set this box clasp behind a stone or other decorative element on your piece or even make it the main focal point. I’ll also demonstrate a traditional safety clasp as time permits. The clasps you make in class can later be put right onto your finished pieces or keep them in your box as samples to inspire you. It will be helpful for students to have a few basic jewelry making skills that we can build on. Come join us for this fast paced workshop you’ve always wanted to do.
