Lost wax casting is a fascinating and intricate art form that involves creating wax models and casting them in metal to create finished jewelry. In this class, participants will delve into the step-by-step process of lost wax casting, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the craft. Experiment with hard carving waxes, soft waxes, and alternative waxes like Mitsuro wax. Then, learn the technical side of casting as you sprue your wax models, invest your flasks, and cast your final pieces. This class is open to all levels, and no experience is required.
